1. We shall unite as teachers still
And work in concord, love and peace
That we may build a Nation strong
To fight the cause of teachers’ right.

United by our common will
To faithfully serve our nation’s needs.

And build our country great and strong
To labour for her future bliss
To love and die serving her cause.

The Union is our heritage
To her we make our solemn pledge
Today, tomorrow, evermore.

And my State Wing of the NUT in particular
To be faithful, loyal and honest
To serve the Union with all my strength
To defend her unity
And uphold her honour and glory
